I like the “Break Through” video, it has that straight ’90s feel with close-ups and time-lapse and everything’s exaggerated. It’s wicked. I haven’t seen all of them yet though. But I’m really regretting that I missed their album release show at Webster Hall with Beast Make Bomb.
Watch/listen to track 3, “Place to Start,” it’s a head-nod, a hum-to, a soundtrack for homework or just laying on your bed. Rioux, which is the one-man work of Erin Rioux, is remarkable; I think the guy is my age. This song is awesome.
